 The
Commission dedicates itself to the delivery of the purest water in ample
supplies, and at reasonable costs, to its contracting communities. By embracing
innovative concepts and advanced technology, the Commission ensures that
consumers are provided with high quality water required to sustain a vibrant
community within the great State of New Jersey.
Looking to the future, the Commission has embarked on a multi-million dollar
program to install computer technology throughout its treatment operation -
from watershed sampling and automation of the filtration process, to
disinfection and flow monitoring throughout its 21-mile aqueduct. In addition,
the Commission will be installing the most advanced chemical mixing equipment,
advanced treatment processes, and the data-management/plant control system,
upgrading its facilities to become one of the most technologically advanced
water treatment plants in North America.
