We invite you to join your colleagues at a presentation
focusing on Stormwater and the Rules and Regulations
Governing its Management. The first of three (3)
seminars will concentrate on the new regulations
and the problems with stormwater (causes, impacts,
etc.). As you are aware, under the new Municipal
Stormwater Regulation Program, municipalities are
required to provide public education and outreach
for its residents. Working cooperatively with NJDWSC
in the activities outlined above, your community
would be credited for complying with the Public
Education Portion of the Municipal Stormwater Regulation
Program.
The
seminar will be given by Stephen Souza, Ph.D., President
of Princeton Hydro, LLC. and sponsored by the North
Jersey District Water Supply Commission. The presentation
will take place on Monday, October 4, 2005 from
2:00PM-4:00PM at Passaic County Community College:
Wanaque Academic Center
500 Union Avenue
Haskell, NJ 07420
There
is no fee for the seminar and a light lunch will
be available from 1:00PM. The presentation will
begin promptly at 2:00PM.
The
presentation is directed towards local elected and
appointed officials including Mayors and Council
Members as well as Planning Board, Zoning Board
and Environmental Commission Members.
